My name is Emily; but you can call me Ginger. Skin care and taking care of others is my absolute passion. I love love love my job. Iâm not gonna sit here and tell you that I wanted to do this my whole life cause truly. I wanted to be a diesel mechanic but after 8 years of Army service doing just that and hitting my 30s that idea went away real fast. I transitioned into healthcare, specifically dermatology and facial plastics and man! I was hooked. I loved helping people feel better about themselves and seeing how the world just lifted off their shoulders after an appointment. So, now I'm here. Rocking my scrubs, dealing with skin care.
Fun fact: I am originally from Alaska. The majority of my family still lives there but⌠they can
come visit me here in East Tennessee cause Iâm not about the Arctic life anymore. I love to cook for anyone and everyone. My husband thinks itâs my love language. (It is; I like to eat.) Donât come to my house on a diet because youâre getting taters every kind of way with some kind of sauce or gravy. My little family that consists of my big, teddy bear husband, Tyler and Tasmanian Devil child Oksana moved to Knoxville in 2020. We have 3 cats [Eep, Nixon + Tina] and 1 dog [Edward]. The dog is my favorite child.
I canât wait to see what the next few years bring to đŽđđđđđ đłđđđ đŹđđđđđđđđ and I hope youâll come along for the ride.

What are your hours?
We primarily operate Wednesday through Saturday by appointment only.
There are special times in the month where we have Monday and Tuesday availability.
Using the booking link is the best way to find an appointment that best fits your schedule.
Appointments starting at 5:00pm must be requested through our wait list feature if not shown online.
Where are you located?
We are located in West Knoxville off Kingston Pike in the Lovell Heights Shopping Center. The best way to find us is by using 109 Lovell Heights Road, Knoxville, TN 37922 in your GPS.
The studio is directly across from this address. It is a small gray building, our front door has a pink floral wreath on it with a welcome board.
You will be looking for S Salon + Spa Studios. There is front door parking for your convenience.
Can I book an appointment over the phone or through text message?
No.
All appointments are required to be booked through our booking link if you have not pre-booked from your previous appointment.
A debit/credit card is required for all bookings to hold your appointment time.
You will not be charged for services up front. Payment is due after your service is completed.
Which service is recommended for a first time guest?
All first time guests wanting a facial treatment should book under the "New Guest Services" category.
You can choose to have just a consultation (in person or virtual) or a consultation with a relaxing or targeted treatment.
Any facial appointment that is booked by a new client is required to have a consultation so we can best assess your needs and avoid adverse reactions. Waxing or enhancement services do not require a consultation.
You will be sent your intake paperwork prior to your visit and it must be on file for your service to begin.
What is your cancellation policy?
All same day cancellations, reschedule requests and appointments marked as a "no show" will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
Any cancellations or reschedule requests within the 24hr window will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
If you have received your 24hr confirmation message and you choose to cancel or reschedule, you will be charged the 50% cancellation fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard or Cash payments only.
Can I bring a friend or children to my appointment?
Only guests receiving services should be present during scheduled appointment times. There are absolutely no children allowed in the studios unless they are receiving services. Children of any age cannot be left unsupervised in our lobby at any time.
Do brazilian waxes hurt?
Yes and no.
It all depends on your pain tolerances. In most instances you can take 200mg of ibuprofen 1 hours prior to your appointment to "take the edge off".
Waxing is a quick feeling versus prolonged, plus who likes shaving? Take a deep breath, you can do it!
Do you wax men?
Yes, however we will not wax male genitalia. Intimate waxing services for men are limited to the "speedo" line and pubic mound.
